Tournament Info:
Girls will play on Saturday, January 31
Boys will play Sunday, February 1
GIRLS: 3rd & 4th grade girls will be combined B/C divisions. 5th-7th grade girls will have separate B and C divisions. 8th grade girls will be combined B/C. *Subject to change based on number of teams registered per division.
BOYS: 3rd & 4th boys will be a combined B/C division; 5th-8th grade boys will have separate B and C divisions. *Subject to change depending upon number of teams registered per division.
The deadline to register is Sunday, January 18.
All teams are guaranteed three games.
All games are officiated by qualified officials.
A full concession stand will be available all day.
Admission fees: $7 adults, students $5, and ages 4 and under are free

HYBA 2025-2026 Season Player Registration
The Hutchinson Youth Basketball Association (HYBA) provides basketball instruction, games, and training for boys and girls grades 3-8.

Teams in this program are exposed to a more competitive level of play.

The HYBA Program begins in early November and runs into mid-March for 3rd-8th grades.

The HYBA season does not conflict with the Middle School basketball season and players are encouraged to do both.

Each team will have two weekday practices and also weekend tournaments. Team coaches will decide on the practice schedules and pick the tournament dates.
3rd grade: 3 tournaments $150
4th grade: 5 tournaments $260
5th-8th grades: 7 tournaments $310

2025 HYBA Fall Camp & Training Sessions featuring Catalyst Training
This year's HYBA Fall Camp and Training sessions will feature Catalyst Training. Catalyst Training based out of the cities, has trained over 10K campers and hosted more than 250 camps. They train NBA, WNBA, BIG 10, SEC players and more! They come highly recommended and are used by many area schools for youth basketball training.

3rd-5th graders: 6-7:30pm
6th-8th graders: 7:30-9pm
Sat, Sept 20th: Camp with Catalyst Training at Hutch High School
3rd-5th graders: 9-11am
6th-8th graders: 11:30am-2pm
Mon, Sept 22nd: Training with Catalyst Trainers at the High School
3rd-5th graders: 6-7:15pm
6th-8th graders: 7:15-8:45pm
Thurs, Sept 25th: Training with HYBA coaches at the Middle School

If you are interested in coaching for the HYBA please email hybainfo@gmail.com to express your interest. The selection of coaches will begin after registration closes, generally in Mid-October of each year. Coach interviews generally begin at the end of October.
